It was wee hours of Friday, the 9th. I was awake because some of my insomniac friends were pinging at the material time for chats. While surfing the web, I saw a post on Eunice “Cece” Olumide by one Nigerian guy (pun not intended) and I was ethralled to read about this bundle of young talent. Without much ado, let’s check her out!
Cece (as she is affectionately known) is a 23-year-old top model born and bred in Scotland. She started modelling at 15years and is currently signed on AMQ/Colours/Ford modelling agencies in UK. She has waltzed runways in Glasgow, Japan, London, Paris to mention but a few. Also, she has done several photo shoots with world’s renowned photographers and stylists. She’s currently in Nigeria and will be working with Dimeji Alara for Style Mania magazine. She was this year’s nominee of Vogue “Model of the year”. Interestingly, in all of these “glam moments”, she is an exceptional student with Master of Art (MA) Degree in Film and Communication.
But there’s a new gist. She just made an incursion into Hollywood. She recently landed a role in a 2012 movie titled “World War Z”, a post-apocalyptic thriller with a budget of about USD125million. Filming has been concluded in locations around Glasgow, Scotland. The movie stars Brad Pitt, James Badge Dale, Merielle Enos, Bryan Cranston, among others notable names. The movie is directed by Marc Forster.
All the best, Cece!
