HAUTE COUTURE FASHION WEEK: THE VALENTINO STORY

When it comes to creating ultra feminine pieces, the luxury brand – Valentino knows its onions. Though currently retired from the world stage, Mr. Valentino still holds the ace till date. The Haute Couture Fashion Week which held yesterday in Paris, France, showcased breathtaking sheer dresses and gowns by Maria Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. The outfits worn by the models bespeak virginal opulence tampered with vestigial traces of modern age. The materials used for the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection include chiffon, cotton and taffeta. Chiuri and Piccioli deserve some reverence for pulling this Collection effectively. It is VERY VALENTINO! Here are a few “yummy” pics!
