FRAGRANCE FOCUS: “I AM KING” BY SEAN JOHN

Being a new feature on the Blog, FRAGRANCE FOCUS will seek to address different perfumes, their compositions, idealness for young men/women and the names behind it. Today I’ve decided to come up with a fragrance that’s ultra masculine in every respect. This is a scent that bespeaks sheer masculinity. It is targeted at guys who are positive; guys who thrive on to be on top of their game. Of course, Sean John is that guy who knows his game well. Yes. We know the fragrance is egocentrically named, but this isn’t our focus. So, let’s quickly look at the composition of this perfume.

The cologne opens with accords of tangerine juice, orange, cranberry and French berries. For its middle notes, we have: Kir Royal cocktail, currant buds, champagne and Mediterranean aquatic notes, while the base notes comprise lemon cream, lime, labdanum extracts, cedar, vetiver, white moss and sandalwood essence. From my observations, this is a citrus-fruity fragrance that will last long on anyone wearing it. The perfume was launched in 2009 and is available in 50ml and 100ml EDT bottles.

Style connoisseur: Sean John
